On the other side of Thanksgiving..

I am thankful to be here today..

I've had what was suspected to be the H1N1 virus for the last week...

They claim it may take about 2 weeks for me to feel back to normal...

I appreciate your visits so much....video will be back next week.

Take care of yourself...

and if you feel down in the dumps, don't watch "Marley & Me" on your Thanksgiving weekend free HBO preview...

My DIL had H1N1 while she was down here visiting two weeks ago. She was flat out on the couch the whole weekend, like yourself. Yup, you don't watch sad movies when you don't want to cry and stuff your nose up even more. That's the time to pull out the Pushing up Dasies DVDs or anything by Tim Burton.
I'm glad you are feeling better. I've been working on a Christmas present for my daughter. It's based on your layer love class, I think I'm on the 8th layer! lollololsnort Having too much fun to know when to stop. :)Bea

I suspected that you may have had that. There are several at work with it too. They are gone for so long we think that they don't work there anymore...lol

I'm happy to hear that you're starting the uphill climb to the other side of feeling better.

Take care my friend and keep getting your rest.

XOXO, Jilly

I'm glad to hear you're on the mend. I spent three hours waiting in line for the H1N1 shot because I have asthma and colds always go straight to my lungs. Thank goodness you didn't experience anything worse than a couple weeks of downtime on the couch.

ugh, I hope you feel better. I've been dealing with the creeping crud since I went up north to visit the family (coincidence? I think not.. it's a sign to stay home ;p)

Marley & Me.. read the book - didn't have it in me to watch the movie.

Take care of yourself - wrap up in something warm, have a nice hot cup of something and relax. We'll be waiting for you!

xoxo

H1N1 is horrible! Hope you are back to your normal self soon! I watched Marley and Me after I had to put Nala down not a good move! I cried for two days!

Oh, Julie....I hope you're feeling better. What a nasty way to spend your holiday. H1N1 is some pretty bad stuff so take good care of yourself or better yet have someone else take good care of you. Pampering is what you need when you're not feeling good.

LOVE the painting!!!!

That movie is so sad. I laughed until I snorted in the beginning, then cried buckets at the end.

Feel better soon my friend. I miss our chats.

Get well soon! We had a round of a "normal" virus here in the house and it's quite persistent. Blaah, hate those.

I'm sorry to hear you had the dreaded flu. Happy to know you are on the mending side of it. I can't say get well soon, how bout get well as soon as this stupid thing lets you?!

I sure knew from the commercials first time out (and from what I had heard of the book) NOT to see the movie. We had a "Marley" dog I was very close to who died suddenly, very young, just 2 years ago. So I knew I was not able to see the movie. We were able to just this year get another dog, a different breed this time. Makes us happy again...tho not our 5 cats!
