Ha ha ha... I can loose track of the day but never the year! You crack me up! Great jounraling! FUN STUFF with the banner and cocktail!
Yikes! 5:00 AM-really? No wonder you didn't know what year it was! It's 10:00Am in the midwest and I've had 3 cups of coffee and still don"t feel human! Loved the reading-love to go back in my journals and see where I was, where I am now. Love your work-Thanks!
Ha! I knit like you - well no, yours looks well formed while mine....
I don't know what happens - I cast on 12 and five rows later I could be up to 15 or down to 9. Leaving me sitting there with a big "WTH" hanging over my head.
So I undo it and start over and PROMISE myself that I'll count after each and every row. Only to discover that I wasn't paying attention to the tension.
It's a laugh a minute with me and my yarn (though I think the yarn is starting to get tired of all this - he's starting to look a bit frayed)
Thanks for sharing the journal - and I'm sure by now you've had lots of folks telling you it's 2009, but fight them... fight them I say! Go rogue and be yearless, timeless and ageless!
Peace & <3
I taught myself to knit. I didn't know how to hold the needles so I stuck the bottom end of one against my chest to steady it while I did what ever it is you do with the other one. The entire experience was painful and as Louie my ginger cat says" STUPID".
I am in awe of knitters, slow or fast. Knit On!
Me? I buy cheap scarves at Target and felt on them. lololsnort
Your hair looks very nice. I think you are in style for 2009. Saw the movie, 2012, you guys better move over here to Wisconsin. :)Bea
you rock! perfect message about staying home, etc. we did that here in our life with one little daughter to raise and were never sorry, always enriched by the home front and staying connected with each other, yet freedom to BE. your video is fab and you always always crack me up. thanks, julie xo
I had a good laugh when you couldn't remember what year it is! If you were my age I'd say you were having a senior moment but you're not nearly ready for that!! Love these videos, Julie. And I'm now going out to find some cherry limeade....if you don't hear from me for awhile you'll know I found it and am slightly inebriated!!
Julie, honey - do I have to come down there and wind that yarn for you? It's going to be harder to work with if you don't wind it up into a ball - start at the unknit end and wind it, baby! Hey, I have an idea - why don't *I* knit the scarf and *you* can felt it? A Nelson girl collaboration! Let me know what you think - - -
yeah, thanks julie. i am so stoked up over this class as i was with yours. man the doors are swinging wide open and the juices are flowing. xo wanda

rapid fire painting rocks. fun to revisit your journal pages with a narrative.

OMG, the cocktail segment is just great !!! Even my husband is shaking his head and snickering.......
Looks pretty good, ladies !!!!
Now, off to score some gin.
Freakin sweetness Julie, I love the fact that you are digging knitting right now. Ohh... bad sentence.
Anyway! you did check out that blog by Wendy right... I mean her stuff is advanced, but oh what inspiration and her humour is awesome. She reminds me of the knitting you. (http://knitandtonic.typepad.com/)
Congrats on being published again. <3
