Monday. Giveaway. Paint. Art.

Win this Golden product, an original painting and a huge tint/glaze poster!

Happy Monday for those of you who celebrate Mondays..today we have another giveaway! If you have not heard already, Chris and I are giving away our marketing budget this summer, and passing those funds on to you in one way or the other!

We are rocking and rolling in the new Layer Love v2.0 online workshop already..this time we are learning how to create delicious layers using Golden's OPEN line..it's amazing! One person will win: 3 new 2oz tubes of Golden OPEN paint (Hansa Yellow Medium, Quinacridone Magenta, Manganese Blue Hue-these are PERFECT mixing shades), 1oz jars each of Interference Blue, Interference Green and Iridescent Peal (yum), 1/2oz bottles of Cobalt Teal and Micaceous Iron Oxide, a beautiful HUGE Tint and Glaze Poster, AND the original 11x14" painting shown at left (you can see it full sized in the previous blog post). What a great package!

I'll mail this package off to one lucky winner. International entrants welcome! All you have to do is leave a comment on this post to enter. For fun, tell me something creative you are working on these days. Enter your correct email address into the field when prompted so I can contact you if you win. Enter through 08/17. One winner will be chosen and announced here on 08/19/11. One entry per person, please.

Layer Love is on sale now through 08/14. Since we're giving away our marketing budget, it would be nice if you would help us spread the word about our giveaway. We appreciate it!

Good luck!

Wow, what an amazing giveaway.

As for me I've recently been creating some new textured art journals which has been exciting and I'm also working on a couple of new textured art paintings.

Wishing everyone the best of luck.

I can't wait for the day I will sign up for Layer Love 2.0. I learned so much in the first one, and loved it.
I never used the OPEN paints but am curious of the differences with the "normal" ones.
Take care and thanks for all the giveaways !

You two chicks are ever so generous.. thank you. Oooo.. I"m working on a sheet of bristol paper that started out as a page of shaded colored squares made with oil pastels.. flattened paper beads all over and now I'm making it into a journal after realizing I wasn't happy with just the page alone. It'll be on my blog soon.

OMG! What a fantastic giveaway! Right now I'm just starting the Layer Love 2.0 lessons (fantastic!). This class is perfect timing for me as I had gone through some major life issues right in the middle of Pixels & Paint and wasn't at all inspired to do anything artistic for several months. Inspiration returned just in time for the new class!

Haha, you crack me up with that, to those who celebrate it... hihi, from now on I will (at least this week). I am not working on anything special right now I think, but I think I will do a little doodle in my diary right now. Just for fun.

Take care!

Awesome giveaway, Julie! :) I'm really into ATC's lately and I'm working on some naked gnomes for the swap. :) I'm not kidding. :)

Now that one kid has moved out we are painting the middle room to act as an office. I'm seriously considering using the one large 8x10 foot wall as a LL canvas.... That way I can just incorporate stray drips, splots and brush strokes!

Wowza!! Look at that giveaway!!!! Those paints...OOOOH!! And that painting... oh my goodness!!!! FANtastico!! Count me in!

What am I working on... does purging and organizing the whole house count as being creative? I think so, because hopefully it'll make space for more creativity to flow! But I do also have many art projects in the works... most involving texture and I'm also painting a branch and bird on a huge armoire for a client. Just a few things going on right now, LOL!!

I'm taking Carla Sonheims summer camp so I've been busy making imaginary animals and 101 faces. I've also been working on some diy stuff for the house and I just finished a crocheted pillow, too.

I'm trying to work in my journal nightly. I also have an Etsy shop idea floating around in my head, so I'm doing lots of research for that as well. :)
